Mid-Year Membership Enrollment

If you join during the middle of the year, your membership dues for the current year will be prorated based on your enrollment date. At the time of enrollment, you will also pay your full membership dues for the following year.

This ensures your membership remains active and uninterrupted through the end of the next calendar year

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

RETAILERS. Any individual, partnership, or entity engaged in the sale to consumers of hearth, barbecue, or patio related products.

DISTRIBUTORSAny individual, partnership, or entity engaged in the wholesale distribution to dealers or builders or other channels of distribution of hearth, barbecue, or patio related products.

ASSOCIATES. Any individual, partnership, or entity having a commercial interest in hearth, barbecue, or patio related products.

MANUFACTURER REPRESENTATIVE. Any individual, partnership, or entity engaged in providing independent sales representation for manufacturers of hearth, barbecue, or patio related products.

SERVICE. Any individual or entity engaged in providing mechanical services relating to hearth, barbecue, or patio related products.

NON-PROFITS. Any individual or entity engaged having a non-profit, non-commercial interest in hearth, barbecue, or patio related products. 

SECONDARY AFFILIATE. Any retailer, service professional or independent rep who is already a member of another HPBA AFFLIATE, in good standing, but would like to join SCHPBA because of commercial interest in the Southcentral Region.

HPBA MANUFACTURER REP. Any individual engaged in providing sales representation for a single manufacturer belonging to HPBA - of hearth, patio and/or bbq related products. Membership is at the HPBA level and therefore SCHPBA requires registration only for the purposes of accountability.

Auto-Payment Terms & Tax Information

*Auto payments plans include a $2.50 service charge per transaction which is included in the amount. SCHPBA reserves the right to cancel or refuse auto payments option based on credit history with the Association. Credit card payments will auto renew unless specified by the member.

For U.S. federal income tax purposes membership dues may be deductible as business expenses, not as charitable contributions. The Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 requires HPBA to inform each member that an estimated, 19.02 % of dues in 2020 will be allocable to lobbying expenditures as defined by the Act and therefore are not deductible as business expenses.].
